Mcfarlane Custom - Dan Marino - University of Pittsburgh (1979-1982)

Helmet after Decals have been applied. The helmet stickers were difficult because they were so small.
helmet decal placement
Helmet drying from paint and then the application on helmet decals.

These helmet stickers were copied from the internet and then printed small to be cut out individually to be placed on helmet.

The figure is almost complete (multiple layers of paint, painting the stripes on the arms, stripes on pants, socks, and shoes, then decals were placed and the figure was glued back together.)

Some of the tools needed
After the helmet has been placed back on, the chin strap and facemask glued back to helmet and all the arms and legs glued in placed. The figure is then painted with a gloss coat and the helment is painted with a Sculpy Gloss Clear that makes the helmet shine.

  1. Awesome read. I just passed this onto a colleague who was doing some research on that. He actually bought me lunch as I found it for him! So let me rephrase: Thanx for lunch! https://royalcbd.com/product/cbd-capsules-25mg/
